Reinventing The Wheelers

A lawyer, Annie (Alyssa Milano of Charmed ), and her infant son move from Boston to her hometown of Charleston, SC where she must deal with her eccentric family while adjusting to her new job at her father's law firm. The Untitled Rina Mimoun Project is created and executive produced by Rina… More Mimoun (of Everwood and Gilmore Girls ) and is produced for television by Warner Bros. Television

The script is warm, smart and hysterically funny. It opens with Alyssa character (Annie) in labor where she finds out some unsettling news about her husband. She is a high-powered attorney in Boston. After finding out this news, she takes her newborn son and drives back to her hometown of Charleston, South Carolina (not Savannah as falsely reported on the Internet) to raise her baby and chaos ensues. The characters and relationships are so real, quirky and heartwarming. You will fall in love with this dysfunctional and yet functional family.

The script is amazing (Rina has got the gift) and for the three weeks they worked in South Carolina, everything fell into place with ease. The director (Lawrence Trilling), the cast (Mary Steenburgen, James Brolin, Anna Camp, Misha Collins, Ian Kahn, David Suttcliffe), the crew (to everyone delight - they even had a couple of Charmed crew members in our camera department), everything about this experience was special.
