CBS The Talk - Daytime Talkshow


CBS's daytime talk show features a panel of well-known news and entertainment personalities having The Talk about current events, pop culture, contemporary issues, family, celebrity and the trending topics of the day. The daily one-hour series is co-hosted by Julie Chen, Sara Gilbert, Sharon Osbourne, Sheryl Underwood and Aisha Tyler. The hosts swap stories, challenge each other on issues and engage the studio audience and viewers at home about events in the headlines and their own homes. Show segments include guest interviews with entertainers and newsmakers, musical performances, how-to demos and appearances from extraordinary people with stories that engage and inform. The show was developed by Gilbert, who also serves as executive producer.

Season 5, Episode 123 - Guest co-hostess Alyssa Milano; Lisa Kudrow (Who Do You Think You Are? (2010)); radio personality Shelley Wade; Marjorie Johnson makes cinnamon rolls and toasted almond chocolate marshmallow pie. Actresses Alyssa Milano & Lisa Kudrow are filling in for Sara & Aisha. The ladies sit down with the hosts to share their thoughts on the continuing "Dress Gate" debate. Also the ladies create their own "llama drama" in response to the viral video featuring llamas running through the streets in Arizona. Plus, Lisa Kudrow, the executive producer of "Who Do You Think You Are," talks about an upcoming episode of the Emmy-nominated series which features Julie Chen.

Season 5, Episode 124 - Guest co-hostess Alyssa Milano; Adam Brody ("Billy and Billie"); entertainment reporter Keltie Knight. Also: chef Ryan Scott serves up Asian tuna lettuce wraps with grain salad. Former Red Sox pitching great, Curt Schilling, strikes back against the cyber creeps who targeted his 17-year-old daughter. Now one of the bullies has reportedly been suspended from college and the other was reportedly fired. Sharon Osbourne says, “It’s not a playground for abuse…until these people are reprimanded and they have to face consequences it’s never gonna stop. We have to start now.”  Also, Actor Adam Brody discusses his first television role on the CBS daytime drama, “The Young and the Restless.” Brody says, “It was so fast…I was 19 [years-old] there, but I sound like I’m 13.” He also talks about his new show, "Billy & Billie.”

 Season 5, Episode 125 - Guest co-hostess Alyssa Milano; CSI: Cyber (2015) cast members Patricia Arquette, James Van Der Beek and Shad Moss; entertainment reporter Andrew Freund. Also: cooking with Dr. Ian Smith. Patricia Arquette, James Van Der Beek and Shad Moss from "CSI: Cyber," sits down with the ladies to discuss the world of cyber-bullying, Patricia recently winning an Oscar and more! Also, The stars of "CSI: Cyber" Patricia Arquette, James Van Der Beek and Shad Moss discuss working together in the new drama "CSI: Cyber" premiering tonight on CBS. Academy Award winner Patricia Arquette says, “These guys are great actors and have my back…The first time we all came together, I was like damn, these guys are really throwing down…It’s a little different than the other “CSI’s” because in technology kids are so advanced…we have a younger team and that’s really cool.”

Season 5, Episode 126 - Guest co-hostess Alyssa Milano; Ryan Phillippe ("Secrets and Lies"); Pam Chatman. The sensational & handsome actor stops by to talk about his new crime drama, "Secrets & Lies." Actor Ryan Phillippe reveals why he was ready to be a young father, at the age of 24, to daughter Ava. Phillippe says, I was prepared for it because my mother had a day care center in our house growing up. So when I would get up and get ready for school in the morning there would already be 11 kids in the house that weren't part of my family. In the summers, I would work at the daycare center…so I was like prepared….I had held so many babies.” Also, The ladies have fun discussing a news story about the masked McDonald's character with today's "Top Talker," Pam Chapman from the reality show "Breaking Greenville,"

Season 5, Episode 127 - Guest co-hostess Alyssa Milano; Darby Stanchfield (Scandal (2012)); NASCAR's Jimmie Johnson. Also: lifestyle expert Chi-Lan Lieu presents easy beauty upgrades. George Clooney calls wife Amal the “smart one.” The hosts and guest host Alyssa Milano admit who is smarter in there relationships. Next, Actress Darby Stanchfield spills "Scandal" set secrets and dishes on what's to come for her character Abby. Stanchfield says, "In the next two weeks, there is some...personal secrets of Abby's that get exposed...just thinking about it makes my body temperature go up...I'm blushing." Finally, The ladies challenge one of the fastest men on four wheels to play "J.J.'s Great Face Race!"

Season 5, Episode 141 - Guest co-hostess Alyssa Milano; Regina King (American Crime (2015)); entertainment reporter Kevin Frazier. Also: Hilaria Baldwin makes miso cod with ginger soba noodles. At the iHeartRadio Awards, Jamie Foxx was slammed for his jokes about Bruce Jenner. Sharon Osbourne says, "He's a comic...Why do we all say that Bruce Jenner is so terribly brave to be doing what he's doing? He knows he is going to get all of this...He's brave. He's coming out and he's proud and brave...but he knows he's going to get this. It's what comes with it." Angelina Jolie made her first post-op appearance and gave moving speech at the iHeartRadio Awards about being told she was different. Guest host Alyssa Milano says, "I'm actually dyslexic. So growing up I was different and I learned differently...It was so embraced in my family...My Parents treated it as a gift...I think it's so important for people to look at Angelina look at her and say 'Wow, she felt different. She felt like an outsider...maybe it's going to get easier.' I just loved that she did that." Finally, The beautiful & talented actress & director sits down to discuss her character on the new show "American Crime," her experience directing a recent episode of "Scandal" and her memories of being on the show "227."
